22. studenoga 2011. Leonard Cohen objavio je na svojim stranicama LeonardCohen.com singl "Show Me the Place" koji najavljuje njegov album Old Ideas koji izlazi 31. siječnja 2012. Kliknite dalje da poslušate pjesmu i pročitate stihove.

Pjesmu je Cohen producirao s Patrickom Leonardom, vokale s njime pjeva Jennifer Warnes, a violinu svira Bela Santelli.

    Cohen medijima predstavio novi album

    16. i 17. siječnja 2012. Leonard Cohen predstavio je na tiskovnim konferencijama u Parizu i Londonu svoj novi studijski album Old Ideas, te u ekskluzivnom intervjuu Guardianu govorio o idućem albumu koji upravo snima te o novoj svjetskoj turneji. Album izlazi 31. 1. 2012.
